Grants and Communications Coordinator
Autumn is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She graduated with honors with a B.S. in Professional Communication and Emerging Media, concentrating in Applied Journalism and a minor in Photography and Video. Autumn has joined the team at WomenVenture as the Grants and Communications Coordinator, AmeriCorps Vista.
Growing up, Autumn was surrounded by the non-profit sector due to both of her parents working at different non-profits. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be able to contribute to the community in one way or another. She was looking for opportunities to pursue after graduation and her mom led her to the Vista Program. She hopes to gain valuable work and life experience during her year of service, while also assisting WomenVenture in creating a meaningful impact for the vast community they serve.
In her free time, Autumn enjoys playing with her puppy, Winston, hiking and camping with her family and boyfriend, and reading, whether it is a physical book or an audiobook. Autumn also has a passion for photography; capturing nature and the beauty that it holds.
